About Chris Haviland​

​I've been a photographer most of my life but was inspired to pick up a canvas and brush by my father who painted as a hobby while I was growing up.  Self taught, I love the outdoors and paint primarily landscapes.  Having lived in the Colorado mountains for many years and now residing in Charleston SC since '97, I've been lucky to be surrounded by beautiful vistas and vignettes that provide unending inspiration.  I paint primarily with acrylics on canvas in an impressionist style. 

 

You'll see I have a limited number of paintings For Sale, but check out my Recent Works of Sold paintings as well as pieces from my Private Collection (that my wife won't part with :)  If you see something you like I can attempt to reproduce a painting or I'd be happy to discuss commissioned work.
